Torneo, which means "tournament", was written by the great 17th century guitarist Gaspar Sanz. This is from his masterwork "Instruccion de Musica sobre la Guitarra Espanola." Although written originally for the baroque guitar, it remains today an excellent piece for the beginning guitarist.
