Matteo Carcassi included this short prelude in his "Complete Method for the Guitar", Opus 59. It is a simple eight measure arpeggio exercise in the key of G major. Look for the underlying chord shapes for each arpeggio group. The right hand pattern is p-i-m-i throughout.
